Krishna Kumar joins the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley as an Associate Professor in January 2027. He joins through the College of Engineering’s Engineering + AI initiative. His research at Berkeley continues the group’s work on physical AI, adaptive world models, learned simulation, differentiable control, and embodied autonomy.
